Oct. 24 Miami Valley Rug Guild- Hook in

This talented group of ladies got together today for a day of hooking, sharing and eating. It's a carry in lunch and I must say it's the best, recipes were being passed around all afternoon. As you can see they are also great hookers. Loads of fun!

These origami birds hang from the lights in the church where we meet, symbolizing peace. Beautiful!

Oct. 22 Needle Night

Tonite the girls were here, first time some of have been together in a while. So, lots of talking and getting caught up. Everyone has been busy, never a dull moment!

Had to take this photo on our way out of the cottage tonight, spooky.

Oct. 22 Cincy girls

This great group of ladies were back again for another class. This time they wanted to learn to do rug punch using yarn and wool strips with a little proddy in the mix. I added a little needle felting as well. It was quick and everyone had great results. They also brought along finished pieces from previous classes and some projects they did on their own. Come January we will hook and needle felt on a dimensional project. Always a good time!

Steve shared some old crochet rugs from the 30's, they are done with dyed silk stockings. Still in great condition with great color.

Oct. 15 Hooking Club & Needle Night

A busy week of getting together sharing and working on our passions, with a little baby shower thrown in the mix. Sorry that some of the photos are a little dark, but still lovely.
