Thursday Night Needle Night

Another fun night with the girls! Debra Henkel, was visiting from Virginia and joined us for the evening.

Kathy, has finished up a past Workt by Hand project. Getting ready to start a new one in May!

Love these little baby chics! Great job, Kathy!
Bonnie, is finishing her first cross stitch piece, ever! One of Stacy Nash's great patterns.

Designer, Debra Henkel of Handmaiden Designs is taking some of her designs and creating a new line of rug hooking patterns. I'll be debuting some of the first designs at Sauder in August!

3 in 1 Creative Workshop

A long awaited spring has just arrived and now I'm asking you to think ahead to this fall.
Nola, Karen & I have planned and organized this workshop that we hope will be fun and inspiring. It is definitely a new approach to a rug hooking event. If you can't attend the workshop, consider coming to the hook-in on Saturday.
Registration is required for both events, click here for more information.

Basket Full of Posies Class

My two year old granddaughters love turning in circles to this rhyme. For the Basket Full of Posies class, I've created this wool applique patch that could be used and applied in a variety of ways. A bright little spot to usher in spring.

The class will be held at the cottage on Wednesday, April 14, 2010
6:00p - 9:00p
Class and materials: $30.00

Sally Visits Needle Night

It was great to have Sally here again even if it was just for a few days. She was able to visit with the girls at needle night, always a good time!

Bonnie brought her wool covered box that she reworked on a $2.00 garage sale find. She's using it to store her rug hooking frame and supplies. The applique was adapted from Kindred's Classic Florals pattern. Nice job!
