Kathy finished her tree, Bonnie her hooked bunny, and then we all did our bird journals.

Hooking Club

Another great evening with these talented ladies.

Bev is working on this fabulous piece she just started with Barb Carroll at her retreat.  Beth brought her pillow she finished from the 3 in 1 Creative Workshop last fall, and the piece she is currently on.  Carolyn is working on a great Halloween rug.  She'll be done in plenty of time for this fall!

Quilt Festival in Cincinnati

This was a great weekend!  I started the evening with my friends Jenny & Les, had a wonderful dinner, then an evening of catching up.

Saturday morning Jenny & I headed downtown to spend the day at the quilt festival.  Eye candy and inspiration for all types of needle art.  So much to see (and buy)!  I have just a few quilt photos from the show, I was impressed with the amount of mixed media, and the use of words, it was a great show.

New Fibers

I've spent this week dyeing and receiving new fibers for embellishing.  Gearing up for the Worky by Hand weekend and spring here at the cottage.  Some great new varigated yarn and roving, one of a kind handspun yarns, and much more.
