Creative Workshop

Needle Night

Lots of discussion tonight about the Sauder Rug Show, sharing with those that weren't able to attend.  Bonnie shared her hooked pig that she's going to stuff and mount on a stand. Kathy working on an applique piece.  Nan (Needle Night North) shared some of her beautiful cross stitch pieces and her punch needle sun.  Love the brighter colors.

Sauder Rug Show, 2012

I've returned home, unpacked and I'm catching up. The following photos are from this year's AMAZING rug show at Sauder Village.  Kathy Wright and her team did it again, with lots of hard work, they brought us another year of incredible rugs, great classes,workshops and vendors. There were 711 hooked pieces [which include the ones hanging in vendor booths] that continue to inspire and delight the eye. Each year the show gets better and better, beautifuls colors and textures. I wish I could have gotten every piece, but just not enough time. If you've not been to this show put it on your calender for next year, Aug. 2013, it is well worth it and it never disappoints. Now, enjoy the show.
