Rug Hooking Challenge

Last fall when we were spending a weekend together hooking, we decided to try a little challenge between the four of us ( Alice Frazier, Maria Barton, Kris Miller and myself) The size was set at 20"x30", and each of us are to hook about a fourth of the rug, and then pass it on to the next person. Each one of us will decide what will go on each rug as they come to us. The goal is to have them ready to hang at Sauder this Aug. This is my start, hooking the star and background and shirring all the colorful rows. Can't wait to see what's added, and what will be coming my way. Plan to blog tidbits as we work along.

  1. I can't wait to see these rugs. We used to do this in our quilting groups and called them "round-robins". Great fun.
