Aug 11th 15th Sauder rug Show

Just returned from another amazing year at the rug show in Archbold, Ohio. Sauder Rug Hooking Week
First let me thank Kathy Wright, Sue Link , RHM, and all the other people that work so hard to make this a wonderful show! Everyone goes out of their way to help and puts in a lot of time and effort to make the show what it is, Fantastic! Already looking forward to next year, Aug.16-20 2016, put it on your calendar now!

That said, let me also thank all of you that attend and put your beautiful work in the show without you we would not be there! Also want to say congrats again to my friends Melissa Maxwell and Donna Hrkman (both were helping in my booth) for their blue ribbons, well deserved!
The following pics are from the week at the show, vendor booths, workshops with pieces in progress, customer projects, and of course the show itself. I know many of them have already been posted by others, but it never hurts to have another look. Enjoy

  5. Thanks so much for the gorgeous pics. I am new to hooking so felt like I was in a candy store viewing all the talent and art displayed in your pics. Question....close to the first of your pics is a hooked sun. How does one make that stiff or rigid enough to hang and hold its shape like that? So interesting!
