Spent a great day Saturday sharing all the ways a rug hooker may incorporate needle felting into their hooking. Fast learners with great results, think I have some converts. Look forward to seeing the finished pieces.

Miami Valley Rug Hooking Guild

It was great being among these talented folks again. We had a great turn out, lots of hooking going on! Everyone shared their rug hooking resolutions, most just hope to do more, finish those UFO's, and some hope to not buy more wool( good luck with that)😊 Anyway, everyone is off to a great start of creating in 2017!

Needle Night : Saturday Stitch

This group of ladies usually gets together once a month here at the cottage, but every January those that can make it come for a whole day of stitching, eating (of course) and sharing a good time, along with a little show and tell. This year's project is what I called round robin stitching. The concept was to choose one of the two shapes, and then stitch inside that shape whatever you want, then pass it on for each person to add something. When your piece comes back to you, you finish it however you want. It was great fun, not to taxing so we could talk and have some laughs. It'll be fun to see how they get finished.

Drove home yesterday with wonderful thoughts and ideas swimming around in my mind, there are just not enough hours in a day to do it all, but I'll try. 😊 Just wanted to share a few more photos of time with this fantastically talented group of ladies. Can't wait for next year!!!
