Miami Valley Rug Hooking Guild

Great gathering again last night, lots of hooking going on. Each month there are always new projects started. Everyone is looking forward to the March hook in on the 4th.

The Cincinnati ladies were back again on Saturday, sharing some of the things they have been working on, and to have a class needle felting on wool bags, and trying rug punch. Everyone having great results.

Great turnout Monday evening, but I didn't take many photos. New projects starting, ones in the works, and several being finished off with binding. And naturally great conversation and lots of laughs.

Busy Weekend

Going lots of directions this weekend, started with a one on one introduction to wool appliqué, so many possibilities! Then on to a beginning needle felting class, great success by everyone, then finished up with a little consult with my friend Kathy on finishing techniques. Love her work!

MVRH Guild Retreat

Another great weekend spent in Palistine, OH. Not only did we hook all weekend, but some took a little break and made wool hearts, with great results. But as you can see from the photos, hooking is the name of the game. Amazing pieces being done! Not to mention lots of laughs and good food.
