The day started at 4:00a, as we drove to just outside of Brookville, IN to get to White's Farm. It's a combination of flea market, antiques, and farmers market, and I was told if you're not there first thing you miss out on all thee "good" stuff. We had a blast, digging and bargining with the best of them. Lunch at the Cedar Grove Tavern, a unique place which houses a 4 lane bowling alley. Then finished the afternoon at Ruth Ann's with embellishing a basket with wool. All in all a great day!

New Endeavor
Several of the rug hooking ladies wanted to try some new techniques, like hooking into wool, wool appliqué, and needle felting. So I designed a small piece and they started today, hooking into wool. Next week they will finish up with the appliqué and needle felting. That will be a little bit more of a challenge, since they’ve not done it before. Everyone did a great job and several are looking forward to starting another piece, using the new techniques they’ve learned.

Trip to Sally's in South Carolina
Had an amazing time with Sally and other friends, Millie and Ann. Sally now lives on Callawassie Island, along the saltwater marsh and it is beautiful! Love the wildlife, scenery, visiting Savannah, Beaufort and just spending time together.
A welcoming front entrance
