Blog Creative Challenge
What a great idea this was of Maria's, I really enjoyed the challenge!
My mom collected owls for years, and when she died there were lots. We lost her 9 years ago in December, so this little ornament is a tribute to her.
I used the ribbon and button on his Santa hat, had him hold the tree ornament, and the pipe cleaners and felted ball for the hanger.
Looking forward to the coming month's challenges. Stay tuned!

Hooking Club Christmas 2010
A highlight for many of us is this party we have every year. Great food, and my favorite, the ornament exchange.
The weather was bitter cold, and a few couldn't make it, but the warm hearts that were there made it a special evening.

Newbies Needle Felting
Both my daughters and some of their friends came to learn needle felting, making gifts for their friends and family. Most of them have never done any or very little needle work of any kind. We had a good time!
Think we're going to start meeting once a month so I can teach them several different techniques.

Needle Night Christmas
What an amazing group of ladies these are. I'm blessed to call them friends.
Once again, the food was fantastic, with the ornament exchange being the highlight if the evening of course.
They are a talented bunch, everything from punch needle, applique, crazy quilting, felting and beading.
