A shout out to Jenny Rupp who had the vision to start this show, Kathy Wright and all her helpers who work endless hours to pull this show, workshops, and classes together, Sue Link and all the other workers and volunteers from Sauder Village who do all they can to make our stay a good one, and Deb Smith of Rug Hooking Magazine that brings us Celebrations and keeps the the word out about this art form.
This year was even more special for me because my kids and grandkids came to see the show and share in the Sauder Village experience. They loved it!
Enjoy the pics, and put it on your calendar for next year, you will not be disappointed! Aug. 15-19, 2017
Wow! These are all gorgeous! Thanks for sharing them!!!
ReplyDeleteThis show is on my bucket list! Amazing, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh my stars..... Love them all, but that red horse😝
ReplyDeleteI will never get to this show, and can't thank you enough for sharing. The creative talent is mind boggling. I am in awe of each creation for different reasons, as a quilter first then a punch needle, then rug hooking, I can never wrap my head around the fact that we all do similar creations in such different mediums. It's just great.
DeleteWOW! WOW! Thanks so much for sharing. As a beginning hooker, it's so fun to see where creativity and curiosity can lead: to beautiful, whimsical, wonderful art!! I'm so glad I've joined the stream. I'm already designing my own rug mugs (with larger projects in mind). Do I get to retire from my day job and hook all day and night soon? HA!
ReplyDeleteMy mind is boggled! A friend just returned here to Utah after attending - I can't wait to see her photos too!
ReplyDeletethe talent+beauty leaves me buzzfuzzled! Amazing!
